The trial runs in the same tool as Basic, so your CV goes to the same recipients (section 6), including the AI services in the USA (section 7). After 14 days the account is locked. If you then switch to Basic, your account and CV stay; if not, we delete them 30 days after the trial ends.

Anthropic, PBC (USA)AI used in the job search tool and in the CV tool our team uses, to read CVs, compare them with job ads and draft CV texts

EmployersPlacement only, and only with your written authority for each application
Tax advisers, lawyers, auditors and authoritiesWhere the law requires it

Processors act on our instructions under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). We never sell your personal data.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Netlify, Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare may process data in the USA. They are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision; where needed, the EU standard contractual clauses also apply. In the job search tool, Anthropic and Voyage AI process CV data in the USA under the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). In Placement, if you authorize an application to an employer outside the EEA, we tell you the country before we send anything.

8. How long we keep data

We delete personal data once it is no longer needed for the purpose we collected it for, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Website server logsFor a short period, for security
Analytics dataAs set with the analytics provider, then deleted automatically

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): Request that we limit how we process your data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Right regarding automated decisions (Art. 22): Not to be subject to automated decision-making with legal or significant effects (see Section 10).
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77): with a data protection supervisory authority (see section 17).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@move2europe.eu or by post to our registered address. We will respond within one month. This period may be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will inform you. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

10. Automated decision-making

The job search tool scores CVs against job ads automatically. If you use the tool yourself, the score is shown only in your own account. In Placement, our advisors use the same tool for you: the AI suggests and ranks job ads, and an advisor reviews them and decides which ones we send to you or, with your permission, apply to. Your advisors see the score; employers never do. Every decision about you is made by a person, so we make no decisions about you by automated means (Art. 22 GDPR). You can ask us why a job was suggested to you, and for a copy of the scores and reasons we hold about you.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary storage: your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner does not ask again. Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) and Microsoft Clarity load only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. To change your choice, clear this site's stored data in your browser and the banner will ask again. Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data goes to a font provider.

Videos: until you press play, a podcast video shows only an image from our own server. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) in its privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube then receives your IP address and may store cookies. You decide by pressing play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Emails: we have set our email service Brevo to record opens and clicks only for people who have explicitly agreed to it. We do not ask for that agreement, so we do not track whether you open our emails or which links you click. Brevo only records whether an email was delivered.

Bot protection: our contact form and guide sign-up form use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., USA, to tell real visitors from automated spam. When you open a page with one of these forms, Turnstile runs short checks in your browser and processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser type (User-Agent) and connection details. It does not read what you type into the form. We use the result only to decide whether to accept the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in protecting our forms and email from abuse). More information: Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

12. Use of artificial intelligence

  • Content: AI tools help draft and edit articles and other texts on this website.
  • CVs (Gold and VIP): AI tools support our team's work on your CV and LinkedIn profile, including our CV tool, which uses Anthropic (see section 7). A person on our team works with you on the result.
  • The job search tool: AI services in the USA (Anthropic and Voyage AI, see section 7) read your CV and rank job ads against it. If you use the tool yourself, the score is shown only to you. In Placement, your advisor uses the tool for you and sees the score; the AI only suggests, and your advisor decides which jobs are sent. Before your CV text goes to the AI for matching, we remove your name and contact details.
  • Internal work: drafting correspondence and summarising information.

13. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS)
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
  • Secure storage of documents in Europe (our Google Workspace stores data at rest in Europe)
  • Regular review of security practices

Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

14. Data breaches

If a personal data breach puts your rights at risk, we notify the Bavarian data protection authority within 72 hours (Art. 33 GDPR) and inform you without undue delay if the risk is high (Art. 34 GDPR).

15. Do you have to provide data?

To enter into a service agreement with us, you must provide your name, contact details, and professional information. Without this data, we are unable to deliver our services. For website visitors, no personal data beyond what is automatically collected (server logs) is required.

16. Children

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it immediately.

17. Supervisory authority

Under the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for Talent Partner GmbH is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

18. Changes

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or data processing practices. Material changes will be communicated via our website and, for existing clients, by email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
